Episode 80 brings some big feelings and some hand cramps. Summer updating may be irregular as work schedules grow hectic and joints require rest.

Despite releasing the bonus episode introducing the 'Rainbow Siddal Socks' (ravelry link) they are already well past the cuff and lace motifs and into the leg mporti0on of the knitting. Audio-Man and I were right to be cautious when choosing the pattern for Knittyandcolor's 'Acustic Sock' (raveley link) in the colorway "Milky Way" (ravelry link) - the bright neon rainbow does make the lace details disappear. But the it also makes me so happy every time i pick up the socks that I almost don't care.
A test weave (ravelry link) for a rennfaire costume piece is finished. Using a decorative motif from Twisted Threads user Trifoli.o and cotton threads to test multiple methods for design elements before starting the full belt.

Broken was the knitting commandment 'Thou Shalt Not Bridge the Gap Betwixt Two Knits'. I shalt did. During the Pride Pod MAL multi-caster meet up. I had to wait until I was off camera to tink back and fix the problem so that I wouldn't lose any of the lace details.
To prevent issues that occurred during the text weave, I employed the use of fishing swivels while winding on the warp for the full belt. But only for the selvedge stitches.
